The JWK2521, a newly developed heavy-duty drafting and winding machine, has recently been installed and entered the trial operation phase. This advanced equipment was jointly developed by Yuci Jingwei Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. and China Textile Research Institute Beijing Zhongli Machine Co., Ltd. The machine represents a significant step forward in the production of polyester industrial yarn, specifically designed for the two-step method of drafting and winding of polyester double-denier fibers. As a key piece of machinery in the drawing and winding process, the JWK2521 plays a vital role in enhancing the mechanical properties of polyester POY fibers. After being stretched and shaped through this machine, the fibers achieve improved characteristics such as fineness, tensile strength, modulus, and low residual elongation. This makes it ideal for producing high-modulus, low-shrinkage polyester heavy-duty industrial yarn. With a total weight of approximately 38 tons, the JWK2521 is a vertically designed, double-sided machine equipped with 48 spindles. It can handle a wide range of spinning capacities, from 550 to 1,440 dtex. The machine operates at a drafting speed of 100–500 m/min and a spinning speed of 300 m/min, allowing for efficient and high-volume production. Its annual output capacity is estimated to reach 645 tons, making it a highly productive solution for industrial textile manufacturers. This new development not only enhances production efficiency but also supports the growing demand for high-quality polyester industrial yarn in various industries, including automotive, construction, and technical textiles. The successful trial phase marks an important milestone in the advancement of textile manufacturing technology.
