The JWK2521, a newly developed heavy-duty drafting and winding machine, has recently been installed and is now entering the trial operation phase. This advanced equipment was jointly created by Yuci Jingwei Chemical Machinery Co., Ltd. and Beijing Zhongli Machine Co., Ltd. under the China Textile Research Institute.
This experimental machine is designed for the two-step method of drafting and winding polyester double-denier fibers, making it a crucial component in the production of polyester industrial yarn. During the spinning process, the polyester POY (pre-orientated yarn) is spun from the spinning machine and then stretched and shaped by this machine to achieve desired mechanical properties such as fineness, tensile strength, modulus, and residual elongation. It is particularly well-suited for producing high-modulus, low-shrinkage polyester heavy-duty industrial yarn.
With a total weight of approximately 38 tons, the machine features a vertical, double-sided design with 48 spindles in total. It can handle a wide range of spinning capacities, from 550 to 1,440 dtex. The drafting speed ranges between 100 to 500 m/min, while the spinning speed is set at 300 m/min. The annual production capacity of the machine is expected to reach up to 645 tons, making it a highly efficient solution for large-scale industrial yarn manufacturing.
This new development marks a significant step forward in the production of high-quality polyester industrial fibers, offering improved performance, efficiency, and reliability for textile manufacturers.
