The 2BMQ-12 air-suction membrane film-covering machine, developed by the technical team from the 7th and 25th Reconstruction Plants under the 7th Division of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, was successfully tested within the group in mid-August. This innovative agricultural equipment is set to revolutionize traditional seeding practices.
According to reports, the air-suction membrane film drilling machine offers four key advantages over conventional semi-precision seeding machines. First, it employs an air-suction seeding method that eliminates the need for manual seedling. Second, the on-demand film application reduces the requirement for manual tasks such as soil sealing. Third, the machine is equipped with a small four-wheel drip irrigation system, which can be used as a single or dual tube setup. Lastly, by integrating membrane technology, the machine enables precise seeding directly on the film, achieving both on-demand and coverage benefits.
This advanced design not only improves efficiency but also significantly reduces labor costs. It saves approximately 2.5 kilograms of seeds per acre and cuts labor expenses by around 40 yuan per acre. As a result, the machine helps farmers save time, reduce labor input, maintain soil moisture, improve crop yield, and lower overall production costs.
