Mercedes-Benz China recalls imported Mercedes-Benz S-class and SLK-class cars

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. submitted a recall report to the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall some of the imported 2011-2012 Mercedes-Benz S from February 15, 2013 onwards. Grade/SLK grade vehicles with production dates from April 2011 to July 2011. According to statistics of the company, a total of 4999 units were involved in the Chinese mainland.

Due to changes in the fuel filter production process of suppliers, some S-class vehicles manufactured from April 19, 2011 to July 20, 2011 and produced from May 6, 2011 to July 5, 2011 In some SLK-class vehicles, fuel oil may leak through the fuel filter, causing potential safety hazards.

Mercedes-Benz (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will provide fuel filters for all vehicle-free vehicles.

The Mercedes-Benz Authorized Licensing Service Center will notify related known customers from February 15, 2013. Ask the customer to go to the nearest franchise service center for free inspection and necessary maintenance.
