Sumitomo Excavator LEGEST Wins Japan's Energy Conservation Award for 2007

The LEGEST SH200-5 hydraulic excavator has been widely praised for its exceptional energy-saving performance, earning the "2007 Energy Conservation Award" from Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. This marks the second time the model has received the 2007 Excellent Design Award, making it a standout in the construction machinery industry with a rare double achievement. Equipped with a unique SIH:S hydraulic-electrical system, the SH200-5 significantly reduces unnecessary hydraulic pressure consumption. It also integrates seamlessly with the advanced SPACE5 engine system, achieving a 20% improvement in fuel efficiency. Its outstanding economic performance earned it the "Save Energy Award for the President of the Energy Conservation Center."
