Streamwood is currently preparing a brand-new Seagrave Marauder II engine for active duty. This state-of-the-art vehicle will soon be stationed at Fire Station 33, while the existing Seagrave quint will be relocated to Fire Station 32.
As you can see from the images below, this engine is nothing short of impressive. The first photo shows Engine 33, a 2014 Seagrave Marauder II MFD TB50C0 with serial number 78H05, boasting a powerful 1500-gallon-per-minute pump and a 750-gallon water tank. Larry Shapiro did a fantastic job capturing its sleek design and imposing presence.
The second image highlights another angle of the same engine, showcasing its advanced features and attention to detail. The third photo provides an even closer look at the vehicle's exterior, emphasizing its durability and modern aesthetics.
For those interested in the technical side of things, the fourth image displays the Seagrave production tag, which includes vital information about the engine’s specifications and manufacturing details. Complementing this, the fifth photo shows the UPF tag, further validating the quality and compliance standards met by this engine.
Rounding out the visual tour, the final image introduces a new addition to Streamwood’s fleet—a fresh ALS decal that reflects the evolving capabilities and professionalism of their emergency response team. This decal not only enhances the vehicle's appearance but also symbolizes the commitment to excellence shared by all members of the department.
Overall, these updates underscore Streamwood's dedication to maintaining top-tier firefighting resources and ensuring the safety of their community. If you have any questions or would like more information about these changes, feel free to reach out!
