X-Oak Lawn truck finds new home

Just got some great updates from Kevin Ryer, who snapped some fantastic shots of a familiar face in its new environment. The 2008 E-ONE CR100 truck that Oak Lawn had purchased and later sold has found itself a brand-new role with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department in Maryland. Now rechristened as Truck 31, this workhorse is stationed at Brooklyn Park, just south of Baltimore City. According to Kevin, this station typically sees between 1,200 and 1,500 calls annually, so Truck 31 is sure to stay busy. These images really capture the essence of what this truck has become in its new life. The fresh graphics look sharp against the body of the vehicle, giving it a modern touch while still retaining that classic E-ONE feel. It's fascinating to see how much character this truck has already built in its short time here. Tim Wolfe also shared another great photo of Truck 31, offering yet another perspective on this remarkable transition. And for those interested in the truck's history, Larry Shapiro captured a nostalgic image showing the vehicle in its original livery as Oak Lawn Truck 3. It’s amazing to see how far it’s come since its days under different ownership. By the way, if you're curious about what Oak Lawn’s been up to lately, they recently added an E-ONE Typhon HP75 to their fleet. That model certainly caught everyone's attention when it was announced. It’s always exciting to follow the journey of these vehicles as they find new homes and continue serving their communities. Here's hoping Truck 31 continues to excel in its duties down in Anne Arundel County!
