X-Oak Lawn truck finds new home

I recently came across some interesting updates about a fire truck that has found a new home. The 2008 E-ONE CR100 truck, which was originally purchased by Oak Lawn but later sold, is now part of the fleet in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. It's currently designated as Truck 31 and stationed at the Brooklyn Park location. This station is the first one in Anne Arundel County south of Baltimore City, and it sees a busy schedule with around 1,200 to 1,500 calls annually. Kevin Ryer from Glen Burnie, Maryland, generously shared some photos of the truck in its new setting. In one of the images, you can see Truck 31 parked on the apron of Station 31. The truck now sports fresh graphics and looks sharp. Another photo captured by Tim Wolfe also highlights the vehicle's current appearance. It’s great to see how the truck has transitioned into its new role. For those familiar with its history, this truck was once known as Truck 3 when it was part of Oak Lawn’s fleet. Larry Shapiro even managed to snap a picture of the truck in its original livery as Oak Lawn Truck 3. It's fascinating to see how these vehicles evolve over time and adapt to different environments. Interestingly, Oak Lawn has also acquired a new addition to their fleet—an E-ONE Typhon HP75. I hope they continue to update us on this latest acquisition as well. It's always exciting to follow the journey of these trucks as they move from one department to another. Each change brings along its own story, and it’s rewarding to be able to track these transitions through photographs and descriptions. I’m grateful to everyone who shared their images and insights, making it possible for all of us to enjoy these updates!
