Streamwood is currently preparing a brand-new Seagrave Marauder II fire engine for active duty. This impressive piece of equipment will soon be stationed at Firehouse 33. Meanwhile, the existing Seagrave quint will be relocated to Firehouse 32 to ensure continued coverage in that area.
The new Seagrave Marauder II is truly a sight to behold, boasting advanced firefighting capabilities and modern design features. As part of its preparation, it has undergone thorough inspections and maintenance checks to ensure peak performance. Station 33 couldn’t be more excited to welcome this state-of-the-art addition to their fleet.

The first image showcases the sleek design and powerful presence of the 2014 Seagrave Marauder II, proudly displaying its MFD TB50C0 specifications with serial number 78H05, featuring a 1500-gallon water capacity and 750-gallon foam system. These images were generously provided by Larry Shapiro, who captured the engine’s details beautifully.
Another photo highlights the production tag affixed to the vehicle, which serves as proof of its high-quality craftsmanship and origins. Additionally, there's an image of the UPF tag, indicating compliance with rigorous safety standards. The final picture shows a new decal recently added to the truck, marking its assignment to Advanced Life Support (ALS) operations—a testament to Streamwood’s commitment to providing top-tier emergency services.
