I just came across some exciting news on the Fire Service Inc. Facebook page! Congratulations are in order for Chief Tom Heller and the entire team at the Forest View Fire Department. They recently welcomed a brand-new 2018 Wheeled Coach Type III ambulance into their fleet. This state-of-the-art vehicle, built on a Ford E-450 chassis, is nothing short of impressive.
The ambulance comes equipped with an array of top-notch features, starting with all Whelen LED lighting that ensures maximum visibility and safety. The custom "Coolbar" HVAC system keeps both patients and responders comfortable during transport, while the Stryker Power Load and Power Cot make patient handling as efficient as possible. The ambulance also boasts an EQ2B siren and airhorn system, ensuring it can be heard loud and clear in emergencies. One standout feature is the custom gear compartment, cleverly designed to house firefighting gear and SCBAs, keeping everything organized and easily accessible.
This beautiful unit is truly a game-changer for the department. Its sleek design, highlighted by the chevron striping on the rear, adds to its modern appeal. The interior is just as impressive, with everything laid out thoughtfully to maximize functionality. It’s a fantastic addition to their fleet, and I have no doubt it will serve the community well.
