In recent years, with the development of the ICP-AES method, many methods have been reported for the simultaneous determination of multiple elements in plant samples. However, the determination of nitrogen, another important indicator of plants, still needs to be dealt with separately. Although automatic analysis methods for the combined determination of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium are already available, four parts of the solution need to be separated after digestion. Color method, flame photometry, atomic absorption spectrometry, these methods have a large amount of sample, less measured elements, far from meeting the requirements of biological research. The introduction of the plant multi-parameter tester has solved this problem very well and can also meet the needs of individual tests.

As the sample is boiled, the test solution contains a higher concentration of sulfuric acid. According to reports, the sulfuric acid medium has a great influence on the determination of ICP-AES. Therefore, the method was used to optimize the selective test of sulfuric acid concentration, instrument operating parameters, and analysis conditions. A parallel test was performed on the plant standard substance shrub leaves GBWO76o3, and the relative standard deviation of each element was determined to be 1.6% to 26.2%; and the measured value and standard were as follows: the element content was> 100, 10 to 100, and 1 to 10 were mixed. The application analysis of the plant multiparameter analyzer showed that the content of the elements on the side of the plant was different by 5 orders of magnitude. There are matrix effects and spectral line interferences between elements. This method uses the test solution and the mixed standard solution to eliminate the influence of the matrix on the unity of ion concentration and medium.
