5-11 Alarm fire and Haz Mat Level 1 in Chicago, 4-2-19 (more)

I just got back from visiting the site of the fire yesterday (April 3, 2019), and I wanted to share some of the pictures I took to show the extent of the damage. The destruction is really something to see. [Attached are several images showing the aftermath of the massive fire that wiped out Newlyweds Foods in Chicago on April 2, 2019.] The first picture shows a spare HME Luverne fire engine working in Chicago. You can really see the scale of the operation here. Next, there are three images that capture the sheer devastation left behind by the fire. The last photo focuses on Chicago FD Engine 91, which was part of the response effort. [Attached is also a copy of Chicago FD Memo M-36-19. Click on the image to download a larger version.] It's hard to fully grasp the impact until you're standing there in person. The fire left quite a mark, and it's going to take some time for the community to recover from this.
