What problems should be paid attention to in the operation of double head milling machine?

Two-head milling machine should pay attention to the problem of the process:

1. The operator must stick to his position and be meticulous in his operation and not be irrelevant to the work. Stop the machine when you leave the machine and turn off the power and air supply.

2, according to the rules of processing. It is not allowed to arbitrarily increase the feeding amount, grinding amount, and cut (grinding) cutting speed. Super-standard, overloaded, and overweight machine tools are not allowed. It is not allowed to use rough machines and small machines.

3, the tool, the workpiece should be clamped correctly and fastened firmly. Do not touch the machine when loading or unloading. Find the tool and the workpiece is not allowed to hit the hammer. Do not tighten the tool or workpiece by increasing the torque with a longer handle.

4. Do not install thimble, cutters, knife sleeves, etc. that are inconsistent with the taper or the hole diameter, the surface is nicked or not clean in the double-end milling machine spindle taper hole, tailstock sleeve taper hole and other tool mounting holes.

5, double-head milling machine transmission and feed mechanism of mechanical transmission, tool and workpiece clamping, adjustment and manual measurement of the workpiece process should be in the cutting, grinding termination, cutting tools, abrasives after the workpiece is parked get on.

6, should maintain the sharpness of the tool, abrasive, such as blunt or cracking should be timely wear or change.

7. In the cutting and grinding of double head milling machine, the tool and grinding tool do not leave the workpiece and no parking is allowed.

8. It is not allowed to disassemble the safety protection device on the machine without authorization. The machine tool lacking the safety protection device is not allowed to work.

9. In addition to throttling, the hydraulic system is not allowed to be adjusted privately.

10. In the machine tool, especially the guide rail surface and the work surface, it is not allowed to directly place tools, workpieces and other debris.

Pressure seal bonnet is suggested for better closure in high pressure condition, while bolted bonnet is still available for customer's option. 


The pressure seal design incorporates a metal-to-metal seal that becomes tighter as the pressure increases. The initial preload deforms the taper on the soft iron gasket to mate with the taper on the bonnet. The thin knife-edge on the gasket is wedged tightly between the body and the bonnet. The shallow angle insures that the gasket is sealed tightly with only a small upward force on the bonnet. Once the initial seal is created, the body/bonnet joint will remain leak free regardless of thermal or pressure conditions in the valve.After the joint has been assembled, there is no further need to adjust bonnet cap screws.
