In September 2013, after many on-site inspections, Weichai decided to quickly start production in the form of a rental factory. On December 18, 2013, the project was established. After nearly one year of hard work, the first equipment entered the plant on September 10, 2014. On November 26, 2014, the first engine went offline and Weichai first overseas. The independently-built engine production base was officially put into production.
The commissioning of the Indian plant has enabled Weichai to build overseas plants from scratch, spread corporate culture, and exported products and technologies.
