Abstract Electric device (electric actuator) is a mechatronic device that drives the valve to open and close to realize the function of the valve, which plays a key role in the reliable operation of the valve. The performance parameters of the electric device include torque, stroke, pitch, operating time, speed, stem diameter, and the like. This paper analyzes the quotation data of manufacturers in previous procurement projects, establishes mathematical models, and studies the main factors affecting the cost of electric devices.

In order to study the influence of five independent variables (valve stroke, pitch, output torque, maximum allowable stem diameter, output speed) on the dependent variable (equipment price), the regression analysis model in mathematical statistics is used to analyze the dependence between variables. Analysis was performed using the mathematical analysis software PASW Statistics. The linear regression model of the dependent variable y and the independent variables x1, x2...xi is: y=β0+β1x1+β2x2+...+xiβi; where β0 is called the regression constant, and β1, β2...βi is called the regression coefficient, indicating The variation of the dependent variable y caused when the variable changes by one unit.
In order to compare the influence of the five independent variables (stroke, pitch, output torque, maximum allowable stem diameter, output speed) on the dependent variable (equipment price), the linear regression model can be used to calculate the regression coefficient of the independent variable and compare its absolute value. The larger the absolute value, the greater the impact on the price, so that the conclusion can be drawn. The PASW Statistics software calculates the results as follows:
The absolute values ​​of the normalized regression coefficients for stroke, pitch, output torque, maximum allowable stem diameter, and output speed are 0.199, 0.084, 0.722, 0.173, and 0.267, respectively.
Comparing the results, the output torque normalized regression coefficient is the largest, followed by the output speed. It can be concluded that among the five independent variables, the output torque and output speed have the greatest influence on the price of the dependent variable equipment.
For the partial rotary electric device, since it only needs to rotate 90°, the valve switching action can be realized, the torque is large, the rotation speed is low, and the valve stroke time can be used instead of the rotation speed as one of the price parameters. As with multi-turn electric devices, torque and travel time have the greatest impact on equipment prices.
IV. Analysis Conclusions The linear regression method can be used to analyze the output torque and output speed as the main factors affecting the cost of the electric device. The greater the torque of the electric device, the greater the power, the greater the power, the larger the motor and the gearbox are required, resulting in an increase in the price of the electric device; other parameters such as stroke, pitch, and maximum allowable stem diameter only affect the electric device and The valve interface, and the interface type has little influence on the internal selection of the electric device. As long as the valve interface is determined, the electric device supplier can pay attention to the connection with the valve.
