Drying method for engineering plastics

As the process moisture increases, the shear viscosity of the material decreases. The change in flow properties during processing is reflected in a range of process parameters and the quality of the products produced. The general effect of excessive process moisture is over-pressure or foaming. Other defects that are caused by improper drying include yellowing of the material caused by water marks or excessive stagnant time.
