It is reported that this is the first time that Beijing has piloted the construction of a green low-carbon recycling park, aiming to explore a set of development paths that can be replicated and promoted, and the demonstration will drive the development of a green and low-carbon cycle in the city's parks.
The action plan pointed out that Beijing's first pure electric vehicle time-sharing leasing platform will be settled in Yizhuang. The number of service outlets in the park will reach more than 20, and the number of service vehicles will reach 800, promoting the construction of pure electric vehicles and the demonstration operation of leasing.

The relevant person in charge of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone said that the development zone will use about three years, focusing on the fields of atmosphere, energy, solid waste, water, and environment, and strive to improve economic development, low-carbon energy conservation, recycling, and environmental friendliness. After the completion of the action plan, it is expected to achieve an annual saving of 60,000 tons of standard coal, 10 million tons of water annually, and 150,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year. The action plan pointed out that the vehicle emissions will be strictly controlled, the logistics freight vehicles and commuter shuttles entering the development zone will be discharged, and the new energy vehicles will be encouraged to be used preferentially. Construction of a large-scale charging and replacing central station covering the park area, the total size of charging piles reached 1,000.
At the same time, the city's first pure electric vehicle time-sharing platform was built. The number of service outlets in the park reached more than 20, and the number of service vehicles reached 800. The construction of pure electric vehicles and the demonstration operation of leasing were promoted. In addition, the construction of the slow-moving transportation system in the development zone will be accelerated, the scale of public rental bicycles will be expanded, and 3,000 public rental bicycles will be added, and more than 200 bicycle rental outlets will be established. Through three years of action, the green travel rate of the park exceeds 85%, and it is estimated that the annual carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced by 20,000 tons.
Implementing the "Sunshine Roof" project to comprehensively promote the use of renewable energy
In addition, it plans to implement the "Sunshine Roof" photovoltaic building integration demonstration project, focusing on the construction of a number of distributed photovoltaic power plants in the BOE and Beijing Benz and other factories, and strive to achieve full photovoltaic coverage of the roof of the million square meters of the park, with a new installed capacity of 32 MW. The annual power generation is 36 million kWh. Piloting high-efficiency solar thermal projects in the medical base to replace traditional energy to meet the demand for production and domestic heating and cooling, with a total construction area of ​​20,000 square meters. Further expand the scale of use of ground source heat pumps, sewage source heat pumps, and air source heat pumps.
According to the action plan, the development zone will demonstrate the construction of a solid waste segregation and transportation system for domestic waste, kitchen waste, construction waste, etc., and establish a management system for the production, classification and disposal of solid wastes. The construction can be “statistically measurable, monitorable and traceable”. The solid waste integrated management system, which can be accountable, basically realizes the whole process of classification, recovery, classification and transportation of various types of solid waste, and the standard collection and transportation rate of construction and kitchen waste and the harmless treatment rate of sludge reach 100%.
Wang Xuejun, a professor at the School of Environmental Studies at Peking University, believes that it is important to explore the transformation and upgrading of the green and low-carbon cycle from the park level. At present, the economic output, resources and energy consumption and pollutant emissions of various types of parks in China are very large, and due to the characteristics of industrial intensive, technology-intensive, resource-intensive and information-intensive, it is inherently advantageous to explore green low-carbon cycle development in the park. Through the practice of the Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone, a green and low-carbon cycle development model that can be replicated and promoted can be formed, which will provide important reference for the construction of other parks in China.
