Beijing Formally Implements National IV Standard

The objects of the "Standard" implementation are mainly light commercial vehicles with a total mass of under 3.5 tons, usually 9 to 12 seats. The standard stipulates that starting from February 1, 2008, the newly certified basic model car and its deformed car shall meet the requirements of the second stage limit; the production car and its deformed car shall be in conformity with that as of January 1, 2009.
