ईको फ्रेंडली चार्जिंग स्टेशन में भारत का उज्ज्वल भविष्य

The rising costs of traditional energy sources, increased consumption, and growing pollution have been a long-standing concern for people. This has led customers to adopt CNG after petrol and diesel, although the convenience and speed they expected from these energy sources were not fully met. However, as time passed, technology in energy sources advanced, and the use of solar energy gained priority. People are now using electricity generated from solar energy not only for transportation but also in their homes. The government has initiated various projects to raise awareness about solar energy. Due to technological advancements, the use of solar energy has expanded in the automotive sector, and charging stations for electric vehicles are being established across the country. The expansion of eco-friendly charging stations will not only provide convenience to customers but also create new employment opportunities. These charging stations are leading us toward a brighter future. When it comes to solar energy-related projects, the government has simplified the process of installing solar energy systems and charging stations to make it easier for people. With an emphasis on environmental awareness and a sustainable future, plans are underway to install eco-friendly charging stations at major roads, parking areas, malls, and petrol pumps. The Indian government has issued certain guidelines under which any individual or organization can set up a charging station for public use. In recent years, the government launched the National Electric Mobility Mission, aiming to have 6 million electric vehicles on India's roads by 2020 and to achieve 30% e-mobility by 2030. Experts estimate that this automotive mission plan could generate 65 million jobs in the auto sector by 2026. Keeping these future possibilities in mind, plans are in place to establish eco-friendly charging station hubs in cities like Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Pune, Amravati, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad. Several companies are involved in the construction of charging stations. EESSL is promoting the use of electric vehicles and has set a target of introducing 10,000 electric vehicles in government ministries and departments. So far, the company has successfully established 350 stations. To strengthen the automotive sector, organizations such as Delhi Transco Limited, Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited, Gujarat Energy Development Agency, and Basesco are working on setting up charging infrastructure. According to the government’s guidelines, no license is required to set up an eco-friendly charging station. Charging points will also be installed in residential areas, with a requirement that a public charging station should be placed every 25 kilometers on highways. These companies will also be responsible for maintaining the charging stations for three years. It is estimated that the cost of one charging station will be around 4 lakhs, with a separate power supply plan. The government will also provide a subsidy of 1,050 crores to support the installation of these stations, which will be set up in collaboration with NTPC and Power Grid Corporation. **Benefits of Electric Vehicles:** Electric vehicles have gained popularity due to their environmental benefits and affordability. Some key advantages include: - The cost of charging an electric vehicle is significantly lower than fueling a petrol or diesel vehicle. The cost of charging an electric vehicle per kilometer is about one-third of the cost of fueling a conventional vehicle. - Electric vehicles require less maintenance and servicing, and their parts, motors, radiators, etc., are relatively inexpensive. - Electric vehicles do not emit harmful gases, helping to protect the environment. - Solar-powered charging stations are being developed, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. - Electric vehicles can be charged using solar power plants instead of grid electricity. - Compared to petrol or CNG vehicles, electric vehicles are lighter and have better mileage capabilities. **Related Post:** Solar-Powered E-Charging Stations and Their Benefits How Solar Energy Empowers the Automotive Sector How to Reduce Air Pollution
